Made $847 this year from old music files I forgot I had
This might not fit the typical beermoney stuff but wanted to share anyway.
I found a folder of beats and ambient tracks I made like 3 years ago when I really got into production. Probably 50 plus files just sitting there doing nothing.
I uploaded all of them to streaming platforms over one weekend in January. It took maybe 6 hours total including making simple cover art.
Year to date earnings: $847. Nothing crazy but that's money for work I did years ago and completely forgot about. Most months land between $40 and $100 with a few spikes when something got on a playlist.
The effort to earnings ratio is insane compared to surveys or GPT sites. Frontloaded work then pure passive income.
If you have any creative files sitting around unused this is worth trying. Worst case you make nothing. Best case you have a new income stream from stuff that literally collects dust.
