Vanilla gift card postal code setup not working?

Hey so I got a gift-card recently which I've been trying to use online, but wen I try to do so it asks me for a postal code. I'm not sure how I can setup a postal code for the card as it's not assigned one as of now. i've tried checking their websites but can't seem to find a solution.
