Does Crowdtap reset your streak on the weekend?

I know that if you do not use Crowdtap over the week, you will not get a streak. I had been doing surveys for a few weeks now. What I had noticed during that time is that my streak tends to "reset" if I used it over the weekend. I was hoping to maintain my streak for the whole week but it gets "reset" when I use it over the weekend. What does this happen? And how do I solve this?
