If I sell a Digital Giftcard that was addressed to me, will the sender know?

I won a giveaway and received a Ruth's Chris Steakhouse giftcard. Nice, I know! But my husband and I unfortunately don't live close to one. The giftcard came with a personalized message and was sent via Ruth's Chris website. Does anyone know if the sender will be notified if I sell it on a giftcard exchange platform, or if I do sell it, will the buyer see the personalized message? (Not sure how selling these work). Thanks!
