Does Respondent projects always take long to pass the submitted phase?

Currently have three projects on the submitted phase (oldest was sent more than a week ago) but no follow-up yet. Is this normal?

I was looking forward to start working on the projects, but the wait is making me second guess if the site is legit or not.
