This week's grocery haul: I got paid $37 to take $139 worth of Razors, Juice, Peanuts, Candy, Snacks, and More!
Here are the goodies.
This week had a shockingly good haul. Almost every single item is a money maker even without the Ibotta bonuses!
Total: $139.33
Coupons: $40.40
Total Cash Back: $135.56
Final Cost: -$36.63 - Money Maker!
Here is the complete break down and sites used. If the image looks fuzzy, please zoom in or right click and open the image in a new tab. Imgur is being weird. The Crunchmaster coupon was sent to me from PinchME. All other coupons are printable. I don't include sites that take any receipt such as Coinout, ReceiptPal, etc on my breakdown. The stores are listed in the breakdown image. Brandclub takes a while to credit, so the amounts listed are what I expect to get once it finishes pending.
Note: Individual deals vary by user for most apps. If you don't have the deals right now, you can try checking back later.
My Guides
If you aren't interested in this kind of thing, please keep your comments to yourself. If you don't like what I buy, you can buy different products. If you don't like hunting for deals, you can do surveys, microtasks, games or whatever else you like instead. There is no need to discourage other users just because you aren't interested in the same things!
Some additional deals I didn't/couldn't take advantage of:
-
Applegate Chicken Nuggets are on Ibotta, BC, and there's a $1 printable coupon. Comes out to about half price.
-
Rubbermaid is back on Fetch at $1 each. You can get some at the Dollar Tree for $1.25, or pair it with Brandclub at Walmart, Target, or Amazon.
-
Johnson & Johnson deal - $5 back on a $15 purchase or $10 back on a $25 purchase of qualifying products like Motrin, Lactaid, Neutrogena, Band-aid, Aveeno, etc. There are a lot of good deals on Neutrogena at CVS this week where people were pairing it to end up being only a couple bucks. Expires 7/2/22
-
Beyond Jerky is on Ibotta and Shopkick. The 1oz bag comes out to be like a quarter.
-
M&M Ice Cream Sandwiches at Dollar Tree - If you buy both varieties and submit to Shopkick it'll be a $0.67 money maker.
-
Malt o Meal is on Shopkicks for 400+ points and on Ibotta for $0.75.
-
Clorox - $5.35back on MyPoints when you buy 2. (This is an increase from before!)
-
Red Gold Tomato Love - Free on Ibotta & $0.25 back on Fetch
-
Tons of free stuff on Ibotta.
-
Kellogg's Free Breakfast Program - You can get a coupon for one free product up to $5 for Kellogg's Cereal, Pop-Tart, Nutri-Grain, or Eggo when you purchase an eligible product. Limit of 3. Just a note/warning - my coupon didn't scan properly at Wal-Mart (most of the "free" ones don't). The employees at my store don't have a problem entering it manually, but ymmv. Expires 7/10/22
-
$5 Vudu promo code when you buy 1 bag of Twizzlers Expires 9/10/22
-
Dollar Shave Club has $5 back with this promotion (Valid until 6/14/22) and it's on Ibotta for $2-4.
Afterthoughts
Overall I'm quite pleased with this week's trips. Almost everything was a money maker even without the bonuses. The juice was the most expensive thing I got. I didn't really want that much juice at once, but I had 3 rebates and the lowest one was expiring soon so I had to get 3... It's kind of amazing to realize that if I hadn't gotten the extra unnecessary (for the bonus) items, every single item this week would have been a money maker before the bonus.
I had an easy mid-week bonus ($1 for 5 offers), which was a bit surprising considering I haven't had any midweek bonus in like 2 months. I was driving past Wal-Mart anyways, so I decided to pop in and grab a few things. I got more things than I needed to for the bonus, but that's not necessarily a bad thing since my weekend warrior bonuses usually are only for 15-18 items and I still needed another 19 items after that day for the bigger bonus. For the first time in a few years, I didn't use the self checkout. I didn't notice it at the time (and the cashier didn't say anything), but my two Schick coupons didn't attach properly. I usually pay close attention, but I've used those coupons on these exact products so many times before that I didn't even think about it. Thankfully, I noticed before I left the parking lot, so I went back in to get that sorted out. It was a bit troublesome, but I ended up getting $8 in cash handed to me, which I can't help find a bit exciting since I initially paid with a gift card.
Once I got my weekend warrior bonus I headed out to finish that up. One again I actually got a few more items than I needed to. I found the munk pack in the clearance pile, grabbed the Cinnabon Jumbo Snax which my store claimed they didn't have, and I didn't realize I had an Any Candy rebate. I decided not to get the Hellmann's Drizzle, which I'm thankful for because I didn't realize I had added it to my pickup order (I knew I was going to mess that up again!) I also had to adjust my receipt again for Fetch since I got more than 4 items.
Time Spent
My first trip to Wal-Mart took almost no time to plan. I was in the store for maybe 15 minutes, then another 15 to get the coupon situation sorted out. Tack on an extra 5 minutes for the pickup order afterwards. My second trip was planned cross the span of about an hour while I played with the cat, and I spent about 45 min in the store including my regular shopping and bsing around. Add an extra 7 min for the pickup order. Dollar Tree was in and out.
Food From Deals
I made some Strombolis and Pinwheels topped with Herb Garlic Butter & Parmesan. I also made some more Herbal Lemonade Tea which I've grown addicted to. This week I used Cherry tea with Simply Lemonade. I got some crystalized lemon packets this week, so I'm looking forward to giving those a try in my drinks.
Do you guys want me to continue showing things I've made using ingredients I got from rebate apps on these posts? Let me know in the comments, or you can vote on this poll if you want to remain anonymous.
