swagbucks is asking for a photo of my id to get my reward? is this normal

I completed the foothills 3 for merge dragons. Didnt get my 40 bucks after 7 days so i made a ticket and now they are asking for my id to verify my identify. I find it a bit odd. What do you all think. Have you had this happen?
