beginner question

hello! i already checked the FAQ, but i guess i’m just still struggling to understand how this works: how do you get paid? if you get pre-paid cards, do they get sent in the mail? i guess i don’t understand how people are receiving compensation without giving out their bank into/ssn for many of these?
