Chromebook Conversion Question, Android Beermoney Apps
Hi all, I'm in need of some opinions/advice, especially from those whom have built their own Chromebooks.
t;dr: I found an old Lifebook S7220, and I looked over the specs.
The processor is old (a ~2008 Intel Core 2 Duo P8600) and it has integrated graphics, but the speed is clocked at 2.4GHZ. I'll need to purchase two 2GB sticks of DDR3 (which go for like £5.00 in total second-hand) and a cheap 120GB SSD (but I think I have one spare lying around here somewhere).
Do ya'll think it'd be enough to run Android apps via Chromium as its OS? There are a lot of tasty offers on GG2U right now, and to have a dedicated Android device (not an emulator) would be a great investment for beermoney apps, if it's stable.
Thoughts?
