WARNING about the Voice Data Collection by u/ProductivePlayhouse

Hey everyone! I just received an email from Morgan at Productive Playhouse with the contract for this project that was posted the other day. After reading through it, there were a couple concerning things I noticed, and I wanted to make sure others didn't miss it.

• There is a non-compete agreement in the "Contractor Confidentiality and nondisclosure agreement" #3. The way it is worded could potentially mean that we are not allowed to work for other voice data collection projects like what you find on Lionbridge, Appen, mturk, etc.

• In #7 the "Termination Agreement" you are agreeing to let the company's representative search your personal computers and any drives - and there are no restrictions on this happening.

I have emailed them about these problems, and I'm waiting to hear back, but I wanted to make sure everyone is aware of these. Always make sure to read a contract before you sign!
