REDBUBBLE: Can anybody shed any light on how the "Most Relevant / Trending / Best Selling" searches work?
I still haven't figured out exactly what goes into the algorithm to make works appear at the top of searches on each of these modes - what exactly is the difference? I've tried to compare stuff using my own sales, stats and Google analytics but I'm still mystified.
What determines 'Most Relevant'?
What timeframes is it using for 'trending'?
'Best Selling' doesn't seem to be all-time - does it measure number of sales or amount earned over the past (e.g.) 12 months, or less?
And do views make any difference in searches anymore, given that the data for that isn't given to us directly by the site anymore?
