Issue with GG2U
I’ve been playing one of those games, and there is an offer where you can buy gems, which I did, and get a refund. I sent an email to GG2U, and they now claim that the adviser has rejected my offer completion, possibly due to an IP issue, as in someone having played the game on the same IP, or someone else in my household having played it before. But I live alone, I’ve never downloaded or played it before. Now I’m worried that I won’t get a refund on my gem purchase, and worse yet, that I won’t get credited for fulfilling the requirements, which I’m close to, which has also, so far, taken me 19 days. The game in question is ‘Rise of Kingdoms’.
I’m not techy enough to understand the possible IP ‘mixup’ or whatever, but I downloaded the games using mobile/phone data, and I had to open the banner link (and download it) in incognito mode because otherwise it kept shutting down instantaneously so I couldn’t download it. I don’t know if this could be it.
I’m hoping anyone might be able to tell me if this issue might be legit or if they (GG2U or the advertiser) is trying to wiggle out of refunding my gem purchase and possibly the credit I’m owed.
If the issue is indeed legit or whatever, what might I do to prove that I am indeed completely new to the game?
