How to get Prolific money from PayPal

I made the mistake of waiting til I had accrued $50 on Prolific and decided to cash out. I did that and then got the email from PayPal that I had a payment. I went into my account and saw that in the main Summary screen it was included in that amount. Great. I hit accept payment. After a few days I get a message saying that payment was canceled and sent back! I haven’t seen a credit back to my Prolific account so I have a bad feeling it went back to Prolific. I did some research and I think the problem is that I had to convert it to dollars first. But I can’t find where I’m supposed to do that! Now I’ve accrued a little bit again and I need to try to get my payment but I don’t want it to be sent back to Prolific again. So how do I convert to dollars and did I lose my previous $50 to Prolific?
