Crystalborne Help

I’m on level 7-1, but I noticed there are additional bonuses that can be earned by completing chapter rewards (rank up catalyst and epic ability upgrade book). I’ve been able to complete the rank up catalysts for each level, but cant seem to pass to complete the epic ability upgrade books for level 4,5, and 6).

What exactly am I doing wrong and does anyone know what I need to do to get those rewards?
