XP users? Help....

Okay, so this thing is already 8 years old and still works good until now, but recently my cursor is behaving weird, a few times I was forced to unplug the power because it was moving uncontrollably up and down by itself, and I couldn't do anything about it. I thought it was just the imacro script error at first, but then it happened again even when the imacro was off. Does it have to do with touch pad? Anyone can solve this?
