Low balance cancelations

I've been been back and forth on if this fits in here, so forgive me if I'm out of line (didn't really fit in r/churning either). Several banks offer low balance cancelations on their credit cards. This means that if you prepay your balance except for a small amount before the bill posts, you can get the remainder of the balance paid for by the bank (you statement will show up as $0.00). Banks I know to do this are Discover and Wells Fargo up to $1.99 and then US Bank, Capital One, and Barclay for up to $0.99. This is a long term form of beer money since you can keep doing it every month and earn $12-24 a year for old cards you have laying around. No churning or spend required (you can always just do a $0.99 Amazon gift card purchase since it's reimbursed).
