Tester feedback on a new remote usability testing software
Hi Everyone!
I’m creating a new software for usability testing products and websites. We are looking to grow our user base of testers and want to make this the best possible experience for testers looking to make money with remote usability testing.
Things we are doing to make your experience better than the alternatives:
-
We have you sign in with Linkedin and take a short survey. After that, we ONLY send you an email when you match with studies instead of being bombarded with irrelevant emails or requiring you to log into a dashboard to “browse available projects”.
-
If a company wants other details outside of the initial questions i.e. “how often do you go grocery shopping”. We’re going to limit the number of screener/qualifying questions companies are allowed to ask. We ask all of our questions in the initial sign up so we don’t need to keep asking you basic demographic questions like “what’s your job” or “what state do you live in?”
-
We pay $15 for a 10 min self-test (unmoderated study). We’re usability testers as well so we wanted our incentive to be higher than the industry standard.
-
We are also paying people $20 if they refer a friend (you get paid once that friend has completed their first study)
Our goal is to make this the best platform for testers. Please let us know what frustrates you about being a usability tester. Also, if you want to sign up as a tester or just want to check it out, you can follow the link below.
