Gst registration for PayPal wth ??

I'm a small artist who does digital commissions for $5 and have been doing it for over a year now and paypal wants gst registration!? ( I do have a business account) But you aren't legally required to have a gst uin number or anything if you're turnover is less than 20 lakhs or sum so why make it mandatory to have it ?

That's so much bs cause now I can't even use my account to receive payments or anything ? So i was forced to close my account with no hope..I don't have any way to accept international payments now cause most payment gateways require you to link your Paypal and the rest also require gst details?? I don't even know what to do anymore...I have no way to accept commissions :( cause I think even vgen requires you to link your Paypal... Does anyone have any suggestions...? Please do provide advice. Cause i want to have an international digital shop sorta
