Benny Is Dead as of April 15th

The Benny app, which was aimed at SNAP users and provided a number of deals as well as cash back from retailers, is going away as of April 15th 2026, taking accumulated rewards with it.

Benny has been getting worse and worse and now mostly only accepts paper receipts, and has been requiring users to purchase specific deals to unlock any cash back, leaving users with under $10 in rewards unable to cash out.

The recommendation is to switch to Forage, but I have no idea if that's any more trustworthy.
