Need some insight regarding Cloud Connect and ID verification?? Is this legal for them to ask for this info?? Sounds like ID Theft
Hi all, I just started with Cloud Connect Research and I am totally confused. I did a couple of surveys and now I am waitlisted because they are forcing me to send them a picture of my ID for proof of identification. Is this legal? Can they ask for this info? This has identification theft written all over it. For paypal the only thing that is needed for payment is an email address. That is it period!! So why the hell are they asking for an ID. There is no reason for them to ask for my identification. To me this is BS and does not sound right. But maybe this is a normal process for these types of sites and I just need to stay away from sites like this?? Thoughts?
