Dscout: bnpl study

I've never gotten a successful invite through Respondant/Dscout until today. I'm questioning its credibility because of the nature of the assignment. Where it says I may be asked to make a purchase and immediately cancel it. Is this a scam? I do have a screenshot. Curious if anyone else has gotten it and what happened. Thanks!
