Yougov Safe invite

I ve had Yougov for a while, but don't used it much yet. I got an email saying I've completed enough surveys to be offered Yougov Safe. It's a chrome extension and it will track my online movements like Netflix and shopping.

Has anyone used it yet and do you think it's safe/ worth it? I tried the Yougov subreddit, but the posts where over a year old.
