Query about the tax form

So I have been using VIB for the surveys and meeting and I may have earned more than 600$ by them and now they are asking me to fill the w8ben form for the tax purpose. But I have not added my ssn details to it. If I don't fill the form will it be an issue? I don't want the tax form as the tax form can create a lot of issues. I tried to keep the income below 600$ still they are asking for the info. Would it be a big issue if I don't share my ssn and other details..
