NatWest account opening rejected due to not being able to verify identity - try again with Lloyds?

I tried opening a NatWest account for the £200 switch bonus but after sending the verification documents it was rejected and they said they couldn’t verify my identity.

If I apply for Lloyds/RBS instead and use different documents, is there any reason I won’t be accepted for the switch bonus? I couldn’t see anything in the terms.
