Hobby income or self employment? Deductions?

So, I take surveys on the side, mostly through Crowdtap. It says it considers users “independent contractors” which I would think would mean it was business income. I was just curious if you all claim it as business or hobby income. And, if you’re just taking surveys, I would assume there are no real deductions to claim?
