This week's grocery haul: I got paid $17 to take $95 worth of Ice Cream, Yogurt, Water, Cereal, Tea, and More!

Here are the goodies.

Lots more free ice cream, and a couple nice Ibotta bonuses.

Total: $95.31

Coupons: None!

Total Cash Back: $112.32

Final Cost: -$17.01 - Money Maker!

Here is the complete break down and sites used. If the image looks fuzzy, please zoom in or right click and open the image in a new tab. Imgur is being weird. I don't include sites that take any receipt such as Coinout, ReceiptPal, etc on my breakdown. The stores are listed in the breakdown image. Brandclub takes a while to credit, so the amounts listed are what I expect to get once it finishes pending.

Note: Individual deals vary by user for most apps. If you don't have the deals right now, you can try checking back later.

My Guides

  1. All rebate apps/sites I use and/or know about

  2. How I do my hauls

  3. Beginners guide to using rebate apps/sites - for those who don't know where to start

If you aren't interested in this kind of thing, please keep your comments to yourself. If you don't like what I buy, you can buy different products. If you don't like hunting for deals, you can do surveys, microtasks, games or whatever else you like instead. There is no need to discourage other users just because you aren't interested in the same things!

Some additional deals I didn't/couldn't take advantage of:

  • McCain Fries - Money maker here. They're on IB, Fetch, and coupons.com

  • Barilla Pasta & Sauce - Fetch has an offer for $0.50 back on 2 pasta boxes, as well as $1.50 back when you buy a box of pasta and red sauce.

  • Lots of deals on gerber right now on coupons.com.

  • Dove deodorant on IB + Fetch. It works out to be about half off.

  • Pepsi / Frito Lay has $3 off 5 on coupons.com and $5 off $15 on IB. There's also a few other offers on IB that may be better depending on what you buy.

  • Hungry Jack - $2.77 at my Wal-Mart with $1 back on Ibotta and $1 on coupons.com

  • Tons of other ice cream deals right now like Ben & Jerries, Talenti, etc.

  • Snickers and Twix Shakers are on SB and C51

  • Free bag of Like Air Puffcorn - Refund via PayPal or Venmo. Must purchase in-store or for curbside pickup. Expiration date unknown.

  • Various freebies on Ibotta.

  • Various deals I've done in previous weeks can still be done.

Afterthoughts

I got a lot more ice cream again. I grabbed the Klondike shakes earlier in the week. I had 75% back as well as an offer to get $10 back when I spent $30. Today a few more offers popped up, including 75% back on select Unilever Ice Cream, and $1.25 back on Talenti Layers. The temptations offer was for 100% cash back, and I had another offer for $2.

I did mess up my haul a bit though. I originally planned to get two different offers, but when I saw the Kellogg's Instabowls I grabbed them instead of a couple other offers. For some reason I was thinking it would be $1 for 2 bowls instead of $1 each, so I ended up spending $2 more than planned.

You need to hunt for the 2nd Ibotta bonus this time. It looks like a snowman, and it's hidden under the offers. I found mine under the New Offers section of Walmart. Some people are saying that it shows up under the stores you usually shop at. Once you add the offer, you'll get a popup that lets you select one of the 4 possible bonuses. Make sure you don't close out of this. It might take a few days to pop up again, or it might not at all. I went with the $5 for 17 offers since I didn't think I would hit the bigger ones. You only have about a week and a half.

I've been noticing some changes on SK lately. For one, they seem to be getting worse at checking receipts. They were doing really good the past few months, but it's gotten really inconsistent lately. Probably due to the holidays. I also noticed an offer with a limit of 2. I've never seen that before. Also, I saw a few offers with a "details" section that tells you exactly which items qualify.

Time Spent

Planning took around 20-30 minutes or so. Most of it was done the other day while I was at the dentist's office, and I just went over and changed a couple things today. I spent about half an hour in the store today which included my regular shopping.

Food From Deals

I made a ton of rolls, but I forgot to take a photo of them. Here's what I made last week: Everything Buns and roasted garlic bread, Tri Layer Pudding Pie with Oreo Crust, dinner rolls, and Very Berry Cheerio Bars

Do you guys want me to continue showing things I've made using ingredients I got from rebate apps on these posts? Let me know in the comments, or you can vote on this poll if you want to remain anonymous.
