The Heyday of Review Sites

Does anyone else remember the good old days of sites like Ciao, Dooyoo, Epinions and even Trivago? I spent thousands of hours on all of these websites writing reviews and more participating in the different communities in a lot of different ways. On Ciao, I enjoyed adding new products, while on Trivago I loved getting rewarded for contributing photos. I've been feeling more and more nostalgic for not just these websites but the communities fostered on them recently. If anyone knows of any similar ventures operating these days I'd love to hear about them.
