Is GigWalk App still in business

Is Gigwalk still a thing? I don't see any real jobs there.

I signed up to the Gigwalk app over a month ago and I only saw two gigs -- a far away Wal-Mart gig paying $8 and a closer gig paying $20. Those were gone within a week and since then there was only the ongoing -- review a website invitation to apply, which shouldn't count, and then a $15 gig that was gone in a few days.

I understand that these things can be a feast or famine kind of thing, but when I checked other large cities, there were no gigs there. Maybe if you aren't located there, they keep the jobs hidden from you?

Speaking in general terms, why do the majority of mystery shopping sites take 15-50 days to pay after you submit the work? It seems that they should pay no later than 2 weeks after submission. Free Agent is one of the few that pay as soon as a few hours after submitting the work.
