SimCash detects root after latest update

I have a rooted S8+ Exynos (SM-G955F), and been running SimCash on it for a couple of months.

The device is rooted so I can use an app to keep the battery charge between 40 and 60 percent.

Now, today I saw that SimCash got an update. After updating it, it complains that I'm rooted and force closes the app. When installing the previous version again, it works, and then when I update it again it complains about the root again.

On my OnePlus 8T, that's also rooted, it doesn't detect anything.

The Magisk app is hidden, all needed Google apps are in the DenyList, and so is SimCash itself (the same as on my OnePlus). Safetynet is passing just fine.

Is anyone experiencing the same thing? Or does anyone have an idea how to fix it?
