Hideout.co gift cards question
Hey everyone,
I have 2 questions:
For those of you who have withdrawn a visa gift card from hideout before, how long does it usually take for you to receive the email to set the card up? I’m planning on buying a 3DS on eBay soon and I don’t want to withdraw my $50 in points just in case that isn’t enough, but if I find something for super cheap, I don’t want to get it, then withdraw the card after winning and it takes too long or worse, doesn’t work at all…
My second question is for those who have used these cards, what websites do they work on? My primary concern at the moment is Amazon but I may use other sites in the future and I want to make sure as I don’t want to waste points withdrawing one just for it to not go through
I’ve withdrawn a gift card from hideout before ($52) and it was from “prepaid digital solutions.” I didn’t withdraw my points to a different provider, I just withdrew it directly from their website under the tab “redeem gift cards.”
I only ever used the card on eBay to buy some old apple products, the purchases went through on all of them. The only issue with the card I’ve had so far was when I tried putting it in for a free trial of creative cloud and the card didn’t work. Possibly could have been because the card had only 4 cents left on it or the name but I have no idea.
