does hoarding points make you more likely to get banned?

I'm not sure if anybody actually will have a definitive answer to this, but I'm curious what experiences have been. If you have a tendency (like me) to save up your points for larger payouts, or for a time when you need them more - are you more likely to get banned from a site? Case in point, I currently have 100,900 crowdtap points. Part of me wants to keep saving them while another part of me wants to redeem them "just in case."
