Prolific study was approved then I got a message saying "return" the credit cause they dont want me in their study

Worded it a bit roughly but I got a private message on Prolific after they approved my submission that they would like me to return the credit they gave me since I "may not be qualified" to answer their questions.

Is this something they can do? And even if I wasn't qualified to answer their questions shouldn't they just not approve of my submission , why approve, give me the money then ask for it back?
