Paid academic research study on employee breaks (must be employed FT in-person or hybrid, 18+, able to take a 10min break each day, able to refer a coworker)

My name is Lauren Locklear and I am a management professor in Texas Tech's College of Business. My colleague at University of Central Florida and I are conducting a study to examine the influence of breaks on employee behavior, and we’re inviting you to participate in the study.

You are eligible to participate in this study if: • You are at least 18 years of age • You work full-time and in-person • You can take one 10-minute break per day at work • You refer a coworker to complete one short survey (10 min)

If you participate in our study, you can receive an e-gift card of up to $30. To do so, you will complete a sign-up survey, followed by short daily surveys for 10 consecutive workdays. Following the last daily survey, you will complete one final survey to wrap up the study. In all, your participation will be less than 2.5 hours across two weeks. Your coworker will be paid $15 for completing one survey.
