“CBD Documentary” paid study on Respondent.io is a scam

Avoid this “study”. The online screener will have minimal questions about CBD usage and ask for your phone number. Then someone named “Jeff” will text you and say you are one of the few finalists to be interviewed for a documentary on CBD. He will then call you. “Jeff” will have an Indian accent, and you will hear other Indian accent voices in the background like it’s a call center. “Jeff” will ask you a small number of questions and not really seem to care about your responses. He will then say that as a finalist you will receive a free bottle of CBD gummies and ask for your email so he can send you the offer. The email will be a really sketchy looking link that probably contains all sorts of viruses and malware. You will be smart and not click on it. When you ask “Jeff” to prove the link is legit he will stammer and stumble and begin to sound even more Indian. Then you’ll hang up and be thankful you didn’t fall for whatever scam this is.
