This week's grocery haul: I got paid to take $108 worth of Meat, Pringles, Pasta Sauce, Fruit Snacks, Pads, and more!

Here are the goodies.

I got a ton of stuff in this trip. It's been a while since I last went over $100 worth of stuff in a single haul. There are some really good deals on Kotex on Ibotta right now though. I got a pretty good deal as it is, but it would have been even better if my store had the $0.94 Kotex liners in stock. My deals this week were a split between money makers, and "expensive" items (aka over $1 after rebates). I could have easily made this a better deal by swapping out some of the pricier things like the sausage, sausage sticks, country crock, and the fruit snacks, but those are things I buy somewhat regularly anyways.

Total: $108.10

Coupons: $26.00

Total Cash Back: $84.02

Final Cost: -$1.92 - Money Maker!

Here is the complete break down and sites used. I got the Kotex Security coupons as peelies off of the packages. There are also currently $4/2 printable coupons for Kotex. The Flintstones coupons are printable as well. There seems to be an issue scanning them at Wal-Mart, so you may need an override like I did. Alternatively, you could get the coupons.com rebate. The Pringles coupons came from Kellogg's Family Rewards. There is a printable coupon for the Welch's Fruit Snacks, but it is only for $0.75 as where the coupons.com rebate is $1. The two separate "Any Fruit Snack" rebates were intentional. I had two on my account for some reason. I don't include sites that take any receipt such as Coinout, ReceiptPal, etc on my breakdown. I did all my shopping at Wal-Mart, except for the Sprite which came from Aldi's.

There an offer on Swagbucks for $5 back when you spend $5 on Maybelline products which I didn't take advantage of. There's also a good deal on Poise with Ibotta + Fetch + $3 printable coupon.

If you don't need feminine hygiene products, consider donating them to your local women's shelter or church.

I recently made a guide about how I do trips like this if you're interested.

If you aren't interested in this kind of thing, please keep your comments to yourself. If you don't like what I buy, you can buy different products. If you don't like hunting for deals, you can do surveys, microtasks, games or whatever else you like instead. There is no need to discourage other users just because you aren't interested in the same things!

Afterthoughts

There are a ton of Ibotta bonuses going on right now. Unfortunately, my $10 bonus required 42 items so I wasn't able to finish that off in this trip. I saw other users only needing 10 or 15 items. Ibotta raises your requirements and/or lowers the bonus when you redeem too many things in a short period of time, so it's not surprising that mine is so high. I have until the end of the month though, so I may still meet that bonus. Apparently another bonus unlocks after you finish the Honor Roll bonus too.

This trip was a bit rough. I wasn't feeling great, but I got a FieldAgent job for that pasta sauce, and I knew that Kotex would be a money maker, so I decided to head back out to the store. (inb4 the complaints: I'm not sick. I had a bad allergy day and didn't eat, drink, or sleep enough.) I had planned to get completely different Kotex products, and it really threw me off switching my ideas at the store. I was originally going to get the $0.94 package liners which would have been a whopping $2 money maker each, but my store was completely sold out of them. Instead, I decided to get the $5.47 packages which had $2 peelies on them. I was also planning on getting the Kotex Click, but the Cleanware pads were even cheaper. When I was at the checkout, I wasn't thinking and used all of the peelies, which meant that I couldn't use my last $4/2 coupon. Whoops. A few other things I planned to get were out of stock, so I had to adjust my list on the fly again. As a result, I ended up buying the wrong Butterball bacon (the ONE thing I didn't scan), so I dropped by Aldi's to grab a bottle of sprite to finish off my bonus.

These Flintstones gummies are pretty tasty for a vitamin. Not at all like the chalky abominations I was forced to consume each morning as a child. They are a lot harder than expected though. The Kaboom leaked all over being on its side like that. Make sure your lids are screwed on tight! Luckily it doesn't seem to have hurt anything.

Food From Deals

I decided to make some Chicken & Sausage Pasta from the deals this week. I had to open the pasta sauce jar for my FieldAgent task anyways, so it needed to be used up. The total cost came to <$1.50 for 3 servings not including the extra money from money makers. I could have made it cheaper by leaving out the sausage or by using the Johnsonville sausage I got for free in a previous haul.

Do you guys want me to continue showing things I've made using ingredients I got from rebate apps on these posts? Let me know in the comments, or you can fill out this form if you want to remain anonymous.
