Movie Reviews: What places *online* would publish not-too-professional movie reviews, with a little economic incentive?
It's summer break now, and for my part, that means I get to do what I want: watch, and review my favorite films. I have a friend with me, also ardent when it comes to the movie industry, who will work with me. Self studying prose with books and getting to read lots of other exemplary reviews are presumably all that premise this ambitious plan, sadly.
Anyways, I just thought it would be cool to leverage our interests in the film industry to maybe earn a few bucks and deepen our passions in the field.
At first, I thought of publishing them on a blog — maybe via word press or medium — but I also want for some people but my family to read my reviews. Not a lot of people would read movie reviews out of nowhere, I guess. But on a specialized journal or website, maybe.
Are there any places online that would accept movie reviews without conspicuous cinematic prowess, both recognized and legit? I've heard that the taste of cinema is an option. Something like that.
Additional note: To be honest, the amount of pay isn't imperative here — maybe even none may work (but that's kinda fishy, cuz free work?). It's more for the experience, less of the cash. But still, the bills count.
Thanks in advance.
