Clickworker Warning
Hi all,
Just a notice about a Clickworker issue. I tried it out a little bit yesterday when Mturk was slow. Huge mistake. I did a $14 task to record 140 audio clips, presumably to train AI. Spent over an hour on it. Got rejected with instructions that I needed to follow to fix it. Followed those instructions, spending another 10 minutes or so on the task. Obviously earned my keep here, and put sincere effort into doing a good job. Got this back just now:
Unfortunately we can't accept your job. You only have one chance to redo this job but you still make a mistakes. You can try again in another job. Fear Audio 12: you didn't use the exact wording, you said "I was stuck between the 15th and 16th floors in the elevator" instead of "I was stuck between 15th and 16th floors in the elevator" ;
Scamming me out of $14 an over an hour of my time over the word "the". I should have done my due diligence on this platform better before starting, but this is a warning to anyone considering this task or anything like it not to waste your time on things like this where you put in loads of time and get jilted.
