(US English) Voice Data Collection - $40 for ~1 hour of time

Hello, BeerMoney!

We are seeking US English speakers (where US English is your first AND primary language - we unfortunately cannot accept non-US English native speakers for this project) from all over the country to participate in a large scale voice data collection project.

What We Do

Productive Playhouse offers extensive language services, including transcription, translation, and audio collection in a wide variety of languages around the world. We have been expanding our client roster and the services we provide, and now need to expand staff in many areas. We expect to have a number of different assignments over the coming months, and we hope you’ll consider becoming part of our team!

For This Assignment

Applicants we select will recite approximately 160 short sentences as if you were speaking to a digital assistant (like Siri, Cortana, Google Assistant, etc.). This should take no longer than ~1 hour of your time.

Requirements:

• 18+ years of age
• Android smartphone
• US English as a native language

One payment of $40 will be made via PayPal within 72 hours of completion and successful verification of deliverables. Unfortunately, we do not offer any alternative payment methods presently.

We are seeking a diverse set of accents from different ages and genders around the United States who represent the following areas:

• Western (California, Oregon, Nevada, New Mexico, etc.)
• North Central (Montana, North Dakota, Minnestota, etc.)
• Midwestern (MIDLAND + INLAND NORTHERN) (Kansas, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Ohio, etc.)
• Southern (Texas, Mississippi, Florida, Alabama, etc.)
• Eastern (WAP + NYC + ENE + MID-ATLANTIC) (New York, Maine, Delaware, Massachusetts, etc.)
