Safe to give out phone IMEI number?
I stumbled accross this sub and ended up joining gg2u. All went well, got credited for a few games, but one of them didnt credit. No big deal, I joined because people said they had great support, I screenshotted the offer, and the game and sent it in and they responded wanting my IMEI to check. I googled it and seemed like apps only can access that with special permissions on android and in general you shouldn't give it out. Is it safe to give out? Is it even something they should be asking about?
