Mypoints/Swagbucks question

Was curious since others have said mypoints. com is practically the same as swagbucks. I started a offer on mypoints for 9000 points but theres no activity shown on my account? or does it only pop up when completed..? would rather not play a game for a week or so and not get anything from it.

Any tips or information on how it works would be nice
