Google is paying $21 to people who try out their new Google Pay app Beta

They're doing this through a referral program. Anyone who joins through a referral link, links a credit/debit card for rewards, and either sends at least $1 to someone they haven't paid before or makes a contactless purchase using their linked card receives $21. The referrer also receives $21 for their first 10 referrals.

Of note, there's also a promo going on that gives users up to $5 for their first 3 payments and a $21 cashback promo for $50 purchases at Target.
