MyPoints Bonus 1,750 Points Amazon 8 pt offer question.

I'm new to MyPoints and have searched their literature about this question. As new user, I'm being offered 1,750 pts for my first purchase and then 8pts per $ spent. My question is when do these points get credited to you? I don't see a pending points transaction. Any information would be great! Thanks!
