Mercari vs. eBay

Just looking for some advice wondering what ya'll think about what is the best site for selling used items. I have a few sports jerseys and toys that I'm looking to make some cash from and unsure about where to list them. Mercari seems like the new app more people are using but I've always only used eBay in the past.
