Question about programs like ibotta!

Hello! I saw you guys include cash back programs. Does anyone know if we have to pay tax on the cash we get back as "income" if our total amount of 'beer money' from all sources goes over the amount required for self-employment? If so, wouldn't that make it cost more than just paying the full amount and never getting anything back - for some us?
