How to get $20-25 of free food from DoorDash, now through August 23

DoorDash is currently running a promotion: $20 off a $20+ pickup order from a restaurant that is a DashPass partner with code DDPICKUP20. Here's how to get it:

1. Log in to DoorDash. If you've never used DD before, you can sign up with a referral for an additional $5 off each of your first three orders, bringing you up to $25 off for this pickup order. (ref/non-ref)

2. You need to be a DashPass member to use this code. DashPass is their subscription program that gives you discounted/free delivery + lower fees on Dashpass partner restaurants. Ifyou have a Chase Sapphire Preferred credit card, you can automatically get DashPass for free for two years (feel free to PM if you'd like a referral for this card). Otherwise, you can sign up for a free two week free trial via the DoorDash app -- it autorenews at $10 a month after, so set a reminder to cancel it if you don't want that.

3. Add $20 of food to your cart from any restaurant that has a green checkmark by it, which indicates its a Dashpass partner. Make sure it's for a pickup order, not delivery.

4. Add promo code DDPICKUP20 to your order (it may automatically apply in the app). Congrats, you got $20 of free food!
