My bid gets awarded for the first time on freelancer.com but here is the twist

I just started to grasp on freelancer.com and not so long ago i received a message from the employer. In the screenshot [cannot be posted here sorry im stupid] they ask me for security fee deposit while the reason i joined freelancer.com is to earn some. Is it common or a scam? Any good advise because this is the first project and i really want to make some earnings while not getting scammed. The employer also cannot be contacted via dm on freelancer app, only through email. Help guys 🙏
