mturk letting me accept HITs too soon?

I just applied to mturk less than 10 minutes ago. As soon as I sent in my application, it asked me if I wanted to look at current HITs. On a few of them, I had the ability to accept the HITs. Is this normal considering I applied right before and have not been accepted into the program? Should I accept them?
