Are there any of those Game apps for money that really pay?

Maybe you know the ones, those that always appear on ads where people do some games (copying candy crush, idle clickers or word search games) and get payed a lot (in the ad).

I've always thought those are a scam, I mean obviously you win at a much slower rate than on the ads, but do they pay eventually? any of you have tried and got a cashout from them?
