When Amazon GCs are the only option, how to make them useful?

Hi guys, it seems like a lot of sites that I use purely pay out in Amazon GCs. While I do love Amazon and splurging sometimes, I try to use my survey money for bills and the like. Has anyone found away around this? Certain giftcard conversion sites, etc? Any tips are happily accepted!
