Verydice Users

Good evening, r/beermoney! I started using Verydice a few days ago and just won a $5 free raffle gift card to homegoods. I was pretty stoked initially as I’ve seen many people mention here that they think the raffles are rigged. But just after I won, I received an email from Verydice stating that they require a photo of your government issued ID in order to receive your gift card. I realize this isn’t entirely abnormal, but I am still a bit apprehensive. Has anyone else won and had to do this? Did you actually come through with the ID? Just trying to see what others users think and what you would do if it were you.
